Recently I got an incredibly exciting email about working with Panasonic on their LUMIX S-Series range of cameras, specifically the LUMIX S1R. I was kindly gifted one to play with, creating in my whimsical style to capture how incredibly easy and impactful the camera is! 

When I was given the brief of ‘Shot in my world’ I instantly knew I wanted to share my world with my followers and the people that connect with my photography. I often feel I have two worlds in my life, personal and work. I am keen to bridge these worlds and introduce my two loves together. This was the perfect project to continue this idea and create with my beautiful mother. 

With the help of my incredible team, we could bring my vision to life of transforming my mother in a beautiful ‘mother nature.’ I knew I wanted to do a heavy composit for this project, and building a dress entirely in photoshop, out of flowers would definitely accomplish this! The camera has a very high megapixel count, meaning I could capture all the beautiful details that I wanted to keep in the final photo. The touch screen aspect was also incredible as it meant I could zoom in directly to where I wanted to view. I found the camera to be an amazing companion in my work, being very simplified with minimal buttons and dials, meaning I could focus more on the creative side of shooting!
