IT'S HAPPENING, My first photography workshop! I am beyond excited about this, it has been in the works for many months- with lots of planning and preparation, the workshop will be happening in my home town of Newport (all key info will be below) and will aim to cover my process from start to finish; how I would create in the beautiful space that is this stunning ballroom, shooting with a model and makeup artist, and creating with designer pieces (courtesy of General Guerisse) 

The Plan

The workshop will run from 10am-3pm, but I will be there from 9am to set everything up and begin makeup and preparations for the model (Makeup by Nicole Dawn MUA, Model is Miss Rosie Lea.) We will be shooting in the stunning space of 'The Ballroom' in Newport, Shropshire (TF10 7LU) Which used to be derelict and ruined (I will attach photos below of it before it's restoration!) The space has the most beautiful light, which makes it perfect for both closeups/studio-looking portraits and the conceptual images I will be teaching you how to create! The blue walls will perfectly match the dresses and atmosphere.  

The location has the number 5 arriva bus service running straight past it, connecting Stafford train station and Telford train station directly to it if you travel by public transport (the stop to get off of is either on Newport highstreet or in a car park behind the shop 'B&M.') Parking is best in the same carpark, in Waitrose carpark. There are also food places such as Subway and Waitrose within a 5 minute walking distance for an hour lunch break at 1pm. (We may be able to continue shooting if the model is up for it during this time, or I will be open for any questions and potential modelling for photos!)  

The Workshop will run at £85 per person. This will include the time for the model, the work of the makeup artist, the time to shoot in the space as well as my time to work with you on creating dreamy and surreal images! This price is for my very first workshop, but when you book onto a future workshop after being on one already, You will be able to get 10% off the next one you book onto. I ask for a £30 deposit, and from there, I'd ask for either a full payment of £55, or two £27.50 payments if needs be, all within a week of the date! The Hopes.

My hope for this workshop is to inspire you to create limitlessly, creating images that spark your imagination to grow your portfolio with unique photos. I will be able to share my experiences in the industry and exactly how I pursue my passion.
